My next guest has been 40 years in the signwriting biz and she is a fantastic person and friend: Liane Barker from Brush and Pen Studio and Barker Signs.

We talk about so many things; we go from how she started her apprenticeship with her dad, what it has been like to be a female signwriter and the wonderful world of technology.

Shiny objects and Imposter Syndromes pop by and we think back to the time when there was no internet. Hello, Instagram trap! Liane has juggled it all: motherhood, an ex-husband, work, and the global financial crisis in 2006/2007.

Liane paved the way and is still doing it! Her motto and quote is: “You grow your wings as you fall.” It says it all.
